Perfect for what we needed

We were out for an event at the Rose Bowl and this hotel was just what we needed. Clean, comfortable, not too expensive, and free parking. I appreciated that the air-con worked so well. My friend didn't like the pillows. I really liked the price. They've done a good job making the lobby hip, but the rest of the place has the old motel vibes.

nice stay for quick trip

room was very clean and staff were friendly. our cold water wasn’t working in the shower and they quickly sent up maintenance to fix it. greatly appreciated with the summer heat! however the a/c units outside of our room made our beds vibrate and that made it hard to fall asleep. there is also no a/c in the hallway or elevator. the lobby is updated but the rest of the building is really outdated. lots of free parking. pool area is nice. overall for the price and close location to the rose bowl it was a nice stay for a quick trip

uncomfortable stay -not worh the money

The hotel is old, and the pictures online are much more appealing than the reality. The air conditioning is quite warm and struggles to cool the entire room. With a price of almost $600 for three days, I’m sure I can find a better option. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Overall, good stay.

The staff was great and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the key cards for the room. They did not work a few times, and one of us had to stay in the room so the other person could get in. The staff tried to fix this situation, but it was still an issue. We also overheard other guests complaining about the key card situation. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay.

The only positive was kind and caring front desk staff. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Water temperature in the shower was impossible to control. It would go from ice cold to boiling hot, on it's own.

Coffee and pop tarts in the morning. But Starbucks is so close. Snacks available, but we door dash. The place is clean and remodeled but dated. Still had a great stay for what we needed. The area is perfect, staff is great and we felt safe. Price is excellent.

The front desk staff were able to help us with requests. The AC in the room wasn’t working the first night, but was fixed for the rest of the trip. The hotel is nice, we stay every year. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms could use a remodel. Overall, it’s a safe quite place to stay.

Free parking and ok hotel, close to universal

Good but dull front office staff, done want to provide much info even if we arrived late with a kid. The hotel is renovated but you can easily feel that the building is old , a bit smelly. Also the cleaning staff don’t bother to clean room even if we stayed for 2 nights; room was never cleaned and very limited things provided in the room. Free Parking is a big plus and very close to universal studio and other attractions near universal studio
