Fantastic stay

The prestige room was ideal for a family, kids had their own space in the living room and were really happy it had a PS4. Jacuzzi bath was a bonus too. We were all really impressed with the room.

A truely superb location. All amenities and transport connections in close proximity. Abundance of varied restaurants. Facilities at hotel were great. A dedicated room with a Polti steam iron for those sharp looking clothes. Staff were all extremely helpful. Particular praise for Harry in the breakfast room for all his help. Breakfast choice extensive. Coffee was excellent. Would suggest labelling of those products suitable for vegetarians.

Spacious crook but difficult for driving

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a location that is walkable to everything. However, it is very confusing to get to the hotel if you are driving. It is in the centre of the city. You have to use an intercom on the street to lower a metal tube-like thing that blocks the road. Also, the parkade is very tight.

Lovely hotel

We had a very comfortable stay. It’s a lovely hotel in a fantastic location easy walking distance from the beautiful town centre, lots of great bars cafes restaurants nearby. We can highly recommend The Tomato. All The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The parking situation however is a bit of a nightmare if you drive a higher vehicle. The car park is underground, low ceiling and tight to manoeuvre in. It’s also situated in a pedestrian area so you need directions and a code to get into the pedestrian area from the hotel before arriving (the postcode for the hotel itself is problematic with sat navs if driving). I’d recommend calling the hotel beforehand to get the code and instructions on how to drive to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again, but would go in a much smaller car!

The hotel is very well located. It has shops and restaurants in a walking distance. Nantes was my starting point for my Loire Valley tour and I rented a car after checking out the hotel which worked very well for me. The train station has car rental offices and it is 30 mins in a walking distance from the hotel. Nantes doesn’t required a car to see the highlights. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and the room was super comfortable.

Accueil à revoir

La situation de l'hôtel est excellente tout comme ses infrastructures. Par contre il faudrait apprendre au personnels de l'hôtel à dire bonjour et au moins à repondre aux bonjours des clients. Notamment à l'accueil et surtout au pdj. Par ailleurs il me paraît peu acceptable que dans un hôtel 4 étoiles le coffre de la chambre ne fonctionne pas à notre arrivée et ne soit pas réparé de tout le sejour (3nuits).

El Hotel está muy bien situado, la ubicación es inmejorable. El personal de recepción muy amable, destaco la atención de Tomás, es muy atento. También el personal que trabaja en el bufet es muy ágil y dispuesto. Sin embargo, el Hotel debe mejorar en algunos aspectos: la limpieza de las habitaciones, los dos últimos días no nos pusieron toallas y el último día no limpiaron la habitación, quizás sea por falta de personal, porque no hemos visto muchas personas trabajando, el espacio del buffet es muy pequeño, y hay algunas zonas donde prácticamente no se puede transitar cuando coinciden clientes y personal de servicio, las habitaciones tienen unas suficientes dimensiones, la cama es grande y cómoda, pero están muy mal amuebladas: El armario con cinco perchas, ni baldas ni cajones, no hay sitio para sentarse dos personas, la zona del WC es muy reducida y concentra los olores, y la zona de la ducha es un poco claustrofóbica. Recomiendo el Hotel, pero si volviera quizá no me importaría sacrificar un poco la ubicación y mejorar el espacio en las habitaciones.
