Tamarindo is in the middle of a building boom and it was all around the hotel. They worked extra hard to make our stay comfortable and quiet. Lovely place with a fun and very helpful staff. Easy access to the beach and walkable for most of Tamarindo.

The stay was great the personnel and the installations are so nice. The Breakfast is good, the pool outside the room is a plus. The access to the Beach Club adds an additional value. The best is the personnel, in our case after the checkout we take a sunset catamaran tour and they let us to keep the car in their space and when come back they allow us to use the shower and give us towels and soap, that’s their level or service. Surrounding there are constructions that creates dust but to be fair that don’t cause an inconvenience to us. Thinking to visit this place soon!!!

BOHO Tamarindo was an incredible experience! The property was exceptionally clean and conveniently located to the beach and a variety of restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was truly exceptional, even for a vegan. I would definitely come back again without hesitation!

A great boutique hotel in a great location between Tamarindo and Langosta but at the moment temporarily disadvantaged by all the new construction next door. Boho provides member access to the Langosta Beach Club just across the street. Room design deserves an award.

Boho Tamarindo was a PERFECT spot to stay in Tamarindo. It was located in an amazing spot only 2 minute walk to the beach but tucked away from the main strip so quiet. The owner Johanna was amazing at making you feel at home with fresh breakfast, activity recommendations and just super friendly! All the other guests were also lovely and we made some great travel friends. I would definitely stay at Boho if I am ever in Tamarindo again.

Simple, clean, and great staff

We stayed in there BOHO Tamarindo for 5 nights. We loved the staff including Sniler, Edward, Juan and Gilbert. It is a simple place with 8 basic rooms and house. Has a small pool and some shared living space. It is in great location for walking to Tamarindo. You have access to Langosta Beach Club included. Worst part is that there is construction going on in the lots surrounding the property.

This was our favourite stay in our travels through Costa Rica. The entire property is gorgeous , rooms are modern and clean, comfortable bed, large shower, the pool was so nice to take a dip in, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff here were very friendly as well. The location is perfect , just outside of the main area but still walking distance and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. We were also very close to playa Langosta which we rode scooters to and it only took about 5 minutes. This was the perfect end to our vacation!

Very cozy property close to town within waking distance. Very clean and rooms serviced daily. Great friendly staff, enjoyed the morning breakfast each day. Enjoyed the morning chats and great service provided for breakfast by Snyder. Thoroughly enjoyed his smile and warm personality. Toni was on top of quickly responding to our needs with a/c and water heating problem experienced. Would definitely recommend and consider returning to on any future trips we take to Costa Rica if we return to Tamarindo area.

We highly recommend this stunning establishment ,Boho Tamarindo! The owner, Laura, is very friendly and accommodating. She even drove us to the pickup point for our morning excursion and allowed us to checkout late. The chef prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, featuring fresh fruit, coffee, and a traditional breakfast. Our room was spotless and cozy, complete with a mini fridge, Costa Rican toiletries, and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed a pool front view, thanks to Kristen's room upgrade. We also met Lola, the friendly resident cat.

My recent stay at Boho Tamarindo (mother-daughter trip) was exceptional. The hotel was impeccably clean. The room was very comfortable, simple and modern. We enjoyed the pool and also the dining deck that looked out to a wooded area, watched some wildlife of birds and squirrels. The service was outstanding, our chef Snider prepared our meals each morning, beautifully presented and wonderful he was also was very helpful with assisting with several of our excursions. Overall, a wonderful stay, Toni was quick to respond for helping us check in, since it was after 5pm. We also loved the location, easy enough to walk everywhere, yet in a quiet area. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Tamarindo. Pura Vida

Its a hidden gem. The place is peaceful, clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are decorated simply with intent. Very comfortable and great environment. Although there is construction nearby, as it is everywhere in Tamarindo, it didn't affect my stay. All of the rooms thoughtfully include a noise machine and electronic blackout shades. I was out very early every day and wasn't around for breakfast until the last day - BIG MISTAKE. It was the best breakfast (which is also included) of my entire stay. Met the owner of the property and appreciated the effort she is giving to provide guests the best BOHO experience possible.

This is a nice small hotel and is also an AB&B. The staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel is relatively new and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is somewhat limited but good and more than filling. It is a short walk to the beach. We had a little issue as we arrived early and the front door was locked. I tried calling but got did not get an answer. However, we knocked and a guest opened the door and showed us the bell to ring. This only took about 10 minutes so no big deal and our room was ready, which was great.

Fantastic location! We loved staying at Boho Tamarindo. Johanna made everything so easy and was very responsive to my questions before arrival and while there. The main entrance area has all the information needed to help plan your visit. Such a lovely touch to have wall signs with all the adventure options and a fantastic map showing all of their favorite places to eat. The colors and decorations are beachy fun. It was so nice being right across from the beach and close to the main town. We felt very safe, as if we were in our own little oasis, away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast was perfect, Greg cooks something new every morning, it kept us full all day. The room was very clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable and we loved the rain shower. The property backs up to a national park and we were treated one morning to a family of howler monkeys 'talking', amazing! We cant wait to get back!

Magnifique hébergement . Probablement le plus beau que j’ai fait en voyage . Tout semble avoir été pensé pour notre confort. (lotion moustique bio , savon bio , machine à bruit blanc et bouchon oreille , beaucoup de rangement / corde à linge pour les maillots mouillés) . On voit la qualité (café , serviette , literie) . Le setup de piscine est magnifique . Déjeuner était excellent et les employés étaient super gentil . Il y a présentement de la construction à côté de l’hébergement , mais ce ne fut pas problématique pour nous durant notre séjour . L’accès au club sur le bord de l’eau est vraiment un gros plus . Il y a aussi un emplacement à food truck à proximité et c’etais délicieux . Seul regret que nous avons c’est de ne pas avoir passé plus de temps ici . J’aurais facilement pu rester toute la semaine .

A beautiful and lovely property. Lots of construction nearby but the hotel was up front and accommodating - didnt create any major disruption to our stay. It’s in a very walkable location but is secluded from some of the craziness of downtown Tamarindo which is nice. Highly recommend!

Overall a great little spot. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. It's a 5 minute walk from all the action which is a good thing, generally being in a quieter area. I would have rated this a 5 except we did not learn about the construction next door until a few days before our visit, and construction started promptly at 6 AM each morning. The air conditioning in our unit (#1) was just passable at 24C and somewhat noisy when the condenser cut out (or maybe kicked in?). There were also some animals on the roof that make noise at times throughout the night. If you're not bothered by these sorts of things, then the place is an absolute gem. We also had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency and they were gracious enough to process a partial refund, which was very much appreciated.
