Perfect Stay

Great location right on the water. The hotel offers an amazing free breakfast serving all the traditional Turkish items. Love the fact that the ocean facing rooms have a balcony. The rooms were very quiet and soundproofed from the outdoors. Recommend staying here!

The staff at the Erzurumlu, especially all the gentleman at the front desk and the owner, went above and beyond for us during our stay. They arranged taxi's, haircut/shave, a visit to the local Jandarma, recommended a beautiful beach, and even loaned- and then gifted - my husband tie (he forgot his for a wedding we were going to). The hotel has an excellent view, breakfast, air conditioning, and go beyond to ensure the guests are happy. Thank you to them for their amazing hospitality!

Hotel is close to the beach and close to local little market. Room with balcony overlooking the sea stunning view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is a bit dated but it's clean and what I needed good price with breakfast. It's not a party area just a quiet place.

Top friendly reception. Lovely public terrace overlooking the black sea. Beer is served. Rooms with unfresh carpets. Tiny bathroom. So called ‘ Balcony’ comes as roof covered small room with windows. Heat builds up in there.

A relaxing beach stay near Istanbul airport

Thé double deluxe room was so small that we had problems opening our big suitcase Fortunately we were moved the next day at no charge to a nice junior suite Both were quiet, had a commanding view of the beach and both were fully renovated I along with bathrooms that feature Italian style showers . Too bad they had no pegs to hang towels or clothes .

Staff were bery friendly and helpful; made us feel welcomed. The allocate an area to sot and enjoy the view as long as we want we felt well taken care of. Cleaning up was confusing we didn’t knwo we had to ask in advance but when we did it was well cleaned. Bed sheets were clean and the vew of the hotel is a plus. Specially during the breakfasts. It is a wuiet corner of Istanbul and we found it very relaxing to spend few days in that neighborhood.

This is a motel! The back of the door had a hole, the sink had cracks, the bed cover had a hole in it. There is no coffee or tea or fridge. The best thing was the view. Stay only if it’s the last resort.

We had a room with an absolutely incredible view of the Black Sea. We sat on our balcony for hours. Not much going on but we were visiting out of season and it was quite cold. The hotel is in bad need of an updating as rooms are looking very tired. Although we liked our room it was not cleaned well. We would stay again though as really enjoyed the sea view room

Cheap, cheerful and friendly.

The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly on arrival. We arrived at 10am, check in was not until 2pm but we asked if we could park the car and they said that was fine. We were given a quick tour and asked if we would like breakfast which I thought was very nice as we were so early but we declined and went for a walk. We returned at 1:15 and our room was ready. Everything was clean and comfortable, the decor a little outdated but the price reflects that and we were very happy with the accommodation. The pool was lovely, a few cracked tiles that needed attention but otherwise good with showers, toilets and changing cubicles. A small poolside bar serving snacks, ice cream and drinks. Breakfast was served at the table buffet style and there was plenty to eat and a good choice, it was all very nice. For the price we paid this was a lovely hotel and we would return.

Lovely stay with a fantastic view. This hotel right above the cove in Kumkoy has the perfect balconies to sit, watch the water, and relax or work. Quaint little seaside town. The staff are helpful and polite. The manager in particular helped to arrange transport, and always went the extra mile. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, vintage carpeting, could use some paint etc, but are well kept. A/C worked fine until I left it running and it froze up. Defrosted and worked again after an hour, no issues. Indoor and outdoor dining room areas, indoor with white table cloths and nice place settings, outdoors with the same great views, professional service. Breakfast is good with a variety to choose from. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend, or like I did, to get out of the city for a few days on a long layover.
