Hotel is in serious disrepair. Huge cracks in shower, toilet did not work even after maintenance was called, hallways especially in lobby area smelled of heavy smoke. The property is old. It looks semi-abandoned on the outside, but inside it looks better, having been partially renovated. Even then, evidence of its age shows. However, it was clean and comfortable enough to get sleep, and the breakfast was excellent, so don’t judge a book by its cover, I guess?

It was filthy we had to go 4 rooms before they found one clean. There was stuff in the sinks the beds weren’t made pillows on the floor air conditioning didn’t work. The whole place smelled like mildew. There was bubbles in the walls from leaks you could push stains all over and dirty bedding. The front desk lady was even embarrassed and said she wouldn’t stay In there. As an apology they offered a bottle of water and a cup of ramen noodles. We ended up sleeping In the car.

We chose this property for it's good value and proximity to the Jamestown Settlement. When we arrived we weren't expecting the hotel to be so nice and it appears it's being renovated. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Another pleasant surprise is that this Wyndam accepts pets. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay when we visit Williamsburg.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Way too much to type but avoid if you can. Only bright spot was proximity to Bush Gardens.

Several things detracted from a nice stay. The walk to the elevator is long/inconvenient and not well marked. The soap for the shower was pitiful (about the size of 2 quarters). Other supplies were feeble (and there is no shelf in the shower to put those tiny bottles) Feels like a cheap cost cutting move. Very loud/noisy exhaust fan in bathroom. Way too noisy - there should be quiet hours, but children were playing outside past midnight and running around halls yelling at 2:00 AM. Facility needs cleaning (look out the windows on 5th floor near elevators - dozens of spider webs). However, the bed was good, there were convenient outlets for charging, A/C worked well, breakfast was average.

The room itself was very nice and clean. The elevators were a little sketchy and one shook for a bit when it reached the 8th floor. If the Continental breakfast is an important factor for you, then you should book another hotel. The breakfast was a little pitiful and there was not much of a selection. Pancakes, sausage, egg whites, hash browns and sliced bread. That was it.

We got a non smoking that smelled like smoke. I had to sign paperwork saying I wouldn't smoke and yet it reaked like smoke. Not sure if you weren't prepared or didn't care but the breakfast was cold and awful. For what I paid It would have been nice to have warm breakfast. Im sure the senior trip was known about yet because of it there was no food for the other guests. I have stayed with this chain over the year since I was a kid and they have drastically gone down in quality and up in $$. Despite all of that Max is who checked us in and was GREAT. Thank you Max for being friendly and professional!
