Very comfortable bed, room was nicely dark and peaceful too once the live band finished about 10.45pm. Only 1 working plug socket in room 10 but we coped. We would certainly stay again.

This is a very friendly pub that is very busy the only reason I didn’t give 5 * was the pub has kids birthday parties and live music which both are quiet loud

One night stay to attend concert in Liverpool. Check in was smooth, staff member showed me to room and showed fire exits etc, he was very polite. Room was ideal for what we needed. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and modern, shower prowerful, towels and toiletries provided. Free parking on site to the back of the pub. The area was quiet with minimum passing traffic. We didn’t drink or eat in the pub but it looked nice enough.

Stayed here while attending the Neighbourhood Weekender and it was perfect for our needs. There was one small issue with the room (the shower ran cold) when we first arrived, and it was sorted completely by the time we got back in the evening.
Can’t fault the room or the staff. Clean, spacious and comfortable.

Booked 2 rooms for my sister & niece to stay so they could attend a family funeral the day after. They had a 4 hr journey & reserved a table for 7.45pm they arrived at 7.40 and were told the kitchen was closing in 5 mins & they had to quickly choose from the menu whilst standing, coats still on and not checked in to their rooms. They ordered burgers and had to send it back as they were still raw in the middle ! The floor was dirty in the dining area & they were made to feel uncomfortable.
My sisters room had plaster missing in the room, no teabags ( had to ask for some ) marks on the walls where pictures had been, all in all it was a horrible experience for them and I felt responsible as I’d arranged the booking.

A brief, one-night stay (arriving late and departing promptly the next morning). Friendly efficient staff, clean and spacious room. We knew breakfast was not yet running, but it would be good for that to happen for future guests to have as an option - looks like a nice space and shame we didn't have time for a drink or evening meal there. Thanks to the team at the hotel.

Hotel, staff and service brilliant the pub a really nice friendly atmosphere only bad thing about the stay was I had no sleep due to very noisy guests, no reflection on the hotel and pub though I was just unfortunate with the noisy neighbour
