Our stay at the Penns View was Excellent! Very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful from check in and housekeeping through to the bar and service staff in their outstanding adjoining restaurant Panorama. Hotel location is right near freeway but it is still in a beautiful, historic area—just on the edge of it. Hotel is wonderfully quirky. Bar is great with really nice cocktails. Our room had many historic touches including a gorgeous old brick wall. Staff were excellent.

The room was cozy, clean, and quiet. The bed, pillow, and linens were soft and very comfortable. The staff were friendly. The only negative about the hotel is the lack of dedicated parking lot. Since the private parking lot next door had no in and out privileges and closes at 10PM, we had to park and walk a couple of blocks way from the hotel to park our car at night.

What a warm and welcoming hotel! Location is wonderful - we walked to Chinatown and passed a lot of historical sites. Room comfortable and quiet. Bathroom clean and water pressure great. I would definitely stay here again. Everyone at the reception desk goes out of their way from giving directions and lending chargers to asking us about our evening when we returned.
