This hotel is in a good location but I didn't like how the facilities are designed so didn't use them. The restaurant is in a corridor and the pool was mainly in the shade. The bathroom flooded every time the shower was used due to poor design. The cold shower problem was never resolved.

Excellent hotel but as always nothing is perfect . Please address soap dispensor if your having a bath ? Also very difficult to exit the bath because of the shower screen!

This is our favourite hotel in Alicante; it is in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very modern and sparkling clean. The staff are very friendly and will do their upmost to ensure you have a great experience.

Great hotel well located in the marina the only reason I didn’t give it an excellent was the hotel restaurant for evening meals the service was poor and the seating manager was worse than useless promising the meal came with things it didn’t. Do not use this place

We were very happy with our stay, and would love to go back again soon. The housekeeping was very thoughtful but every other day the shower drain would get clogged and the water almost spilled from the tray (the floor outside was also very wet) I don’t enjoy having my feet dipped in shower grey water, and its not hygienic. I would like to advise that the housekeeping routine include daily shower / bath drainage cleaning as well. Other than that the stay was very pleasant.

The room ac was not working and they only fixed it a day before we were to leave. Compared to other hotels the cleaning was not the best. The breakfast buffet was really good and literally a minute away from the beach. Hotel staff were excellent

What a great break we had at this hotel, fantastic location and amenities. Their Staff however are their jewel in the crown. Nothing was to much bother, they were always smiling and attentive. Ricardo on the foyer bar was a very professional bar man. We attended the New Year’s Day lunch which was amazing, a special thanks to Alba. What a star, brilliant. I highly recommend this hotel in every way. And we will be going back in a couple of months.

Another trip to Melia Alicante

Sea view and corner room. Sea view means cooler room facing dawn. Corner rooms are bigger. Quiet and clean. Comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. Effective air conditioning and a splattering of English tv channels. As always the extensive, quality breakfast in the large, bright, corner dining room with fabulous beach and sea views did not disappoint. Hotel is not cheap but it is a real treat.
