We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Westgate. It is very close to the West Yellowstone entrance. Outside of our exploring the park, we strolled the downtown area to eat, shop, enjoy ice cream and shop some more! The front office was nice enough to allow us to make sandwiches in the dining area two nights of our stay. They also recommended restaurants which was helpful. In addition to an indoor pool, they have a hot tub which we took advantage of a few nights. Very relaxing after a full day of exploring and walking. Breakfasts were hearty and they started our day well. They have a 24-7 coffee service which we appreciated. I know we would definitely stay here again.

Location was great! The staff, especially Lynda, were exceptionally nice. At check in Lynda invited us to sit down and go over what we should do at the park since we hadn't been to Yellowstone before. The breakfast in the morning was very good and was slightly different each day. The room was spacious and had a sink and countertop! The only complaint was there was a smell in the room that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I think it might have to do with the hotel being pet friendly. Otherwise, I highly recommend this hotel!!
