Dirty and loud

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. Room was not clean - shelving was dusty, carpet had hair balls and dust, bathroom sink and shower drains were blocked and water drained slowly. Walls were very thin, could hear other guests very clearly, as well as conversations on the roadside (we were right next to the main road. The entrance way for guests smelled of propane gas which was quite unpleasant. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was not the one in the picture but that was not the issue the whole place was freezing cold including the kitchen and tv area so unusable it took 3 hours to get my room to above freezing and lucky I had extra blankets as the heater only took the chill off . The bench oven needs a clean it stunk with rancid fat. Probably a lovely place to stay in summer or winter when the whole heating system is working but not this time of the year . Off my stop over list

Good Option for a Night or Two

Booked a cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. It was as shown on the website and described by others - very small but fine for an overnight stay and reflected in the price paid. The location is excellent, easy to walk around the town from there. The cabin was at the back of the property so no road noise overnight. We booked a hot tub but that was a very disappointing experience - the water was warm not hot and describing them as part of a day spa oversells what you get in reality - outdoor, some screening but a path used by guests right beside it and able to see in. Not recommended. Great onsite restaurant, enjoyed a couple of small plates there.

Ok for a night's stay but not ideal for business travel. Shared bathroom and the beds were uncomfortable
Alexx, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Was a nice place But room wasn’t like picture I booked thinking it would be like it Also could do with some updating on paint work Thin as walls could heard “everything “ in next rooms“

Amazing:)

It was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. However, the water pressure in the bathroom is too weak. Other than that, it was very amazing.

Once you work out the warren of corridors, rooms and hot-tubs it's fine. Some parts of the property are reasonably old but maintained, if you don't mind that there's nothing not to like about it.

4/10 Fair

Thin walls, hard bed and a dusty room. A safe place to rest my head but not the comfort I was looking for after a trudge round Mount Doom.
2-night trip

6/10 Good

Clean but not exactly worth the money

Very clean and very new. However, very small and doesn’t have essentials like a wardrobe to hang up your clothes. Basically living in a cabin but paying motel-hotel kind of prices.
