Relaxing stay at The Malone

Beautiful hotel, great ambiance, delicious food from the restaurant with generous portions. Great wine selection. One evening we ran late for dinner and the chef and hostess kept kitchen open for us!!! Many restaurants within walking distance and the city your bus stops right outside the hotel, it was the perfect way to spend a few days with my son before he left for university.

Overall good experience

A really great hotel, would definitely recommend. The only minor annoyance was light from the hallway coming into the room and the blinds not being blackout.

Disappointed

Unfortunately didn’t have a great stay due to having an accident at the hotels entrance. Spent most of the time in hospital. Never got to enjoy the room I had booked for the night.

Was a lovely hotel with 30 minute walk into city's centre. Comfortable rooms and great breakfast well worth a stay. Staff were great and have to single out Tony who handled the breakfast brilliantly.

Great hotel with the friendliest staff I've ever encountered in the UK!
Wayne Aaron, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

We really were only looking for a place to sleep so that I didn't have to drive up at 6am for a course. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Was more townhouse than hotel, which was nice. Will have to stay the next time we're in the area for more than a night in order to get a good feel for the place.

Stay for the Hotel, Not the Food

Loved the location and comfort of our room. It was a little odd being on the first floor with a view over the sidewalk. We found the pullout single bed to be an awkward addition to an otherwise nice too. In all our hotel stays in Ireland and Northern Ireland, the Malone had the worst food, so I can’t recommend it although I would stay in the hotel again. We thought the neighborhood was charming. The staff were lovely though overworked. The concierge later served us food!
Kathleen, 3-night trip

The Malone is a lovely Hotel, quite unassuming from the Street view but very smart inside, beautiful rooms and lovely friendly staff. Next time we are in Dublin we shall definitely book the Malone again .
