Good location with easy transport links. Very useful to have twenty four hour reception and check in, staff at the desk were always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a good range of choice, and a good size room so even when busy, didn’t feel overcrowded. The bar downstairs is nice - great for people watching the lobby! Rooms nice and simple with large bathrooms. Would happily stay again.

Perfect stay and accessible to the old town and train station (20 and 15 min walks respectively). Super friendly staff, free water on check out, 30 mins early check in. Nice lobby, cosy room, convince store in fuel station next door which is helpful but slightly pricey. Safe neighbourhood, worthy visit, budget friendly for Salzburg, breakfast though seemingly pricey.

The location was good as you have got a station for public transportation and supermarkets nearby. Also we like bit of space for desk area. There was no balcony but was a wide step in front of window so it gave us extra space to sit or put our luggage. And there is an hotel pad which we can watch Youtube or listen to music from.

This was my first time to stay with a Dorint Hotel and I will say it is not on my list of returning to this one. Location was super convenient with public transportation. Rooms were clean and spacious. The lobby and bar were welcoming. A bonus was the water refill cooler with Mint leaves flavoring the water. Thank you for the extra touch!

Comfortable stay for touring families

We had a very spacious room and it is very well connected to public transport that takes you to various tourist locations. It is quiet and there are even a few eating places within walking distance in case you want to get a lazy meal. With a Spar and Billa close by, even groceries/snacks etc are at hand. The breakfast spread however is pretty limited even for omnivores, but for vegetarians, it is quite limiting. If you are staying 2-3 days, be prepared to repeat your breakfast every day.

Superior room was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Underground parking was great due to the immense rain and we were on a motorbike. Breakfast had plentiful choices and good quality food. We were very disappointed that the advertised restaurant is not working, which meant walking in the rain to local eateries. This is why we usually book places with restaurants, so they need to change this on their post to be more truthful.

Stunning Salzburg

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly on our arrival. The room was clean and the hotel offered an incentive of a one free drink for not having your room cleaned and towels changed which for us was good. Our only issue was how difficult it was to get tea, coffee and milk for the room. The walk to the centre was a bit of a trek on day one but we soon got used to it, I think we were just tired! Salzburg itself was beautiful, bathed in sunshine- a very memorable trip.

Great hotel and very helpful staff. Clean and at a walkable distance from the center. Confortable. My wife and I stayed two nights and walked to the center every day. Just a hint, not related to the hotel, don't use Uber, use taxis, the Uber drivers will accept your request and then message you that they have another customer and they will be 30 min late, or they will just pick someone else and leave you waiting!! I waited for 30min, asking uber to find another driver, and all uber drivers did the same. So use taxis, they are metered and friendly.

We traveled to Salzburg for the Christmas markets. The hotel is only a short walk to the Old Town, but the weather wasn't very good which made that walk a bit unbearable. Can't control the weather, but just take into account the location if you have mobility issues. Also, there are not many dining options in the area. On the positive side, the staff was excellent (especially Rina!) and very accommodating. Our room was comfortable and the facilities were very good. We would recommend the hotel to travelers.
