The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly and professional staff. It also offers excellent value for the price. As it’s located in the heart of San Francisco, the surroundings can be a bit noisy and busy, which is part of the city’s vibrant atmosphere. That said, upgraded windows could make the rooms even more comfortable by reducing outside noise. Overall, a great stay for those who want good service and value in a central location.
Jessica, 3-night trip

I loved the historic vibe and our affordable hotel room was more of a small apartment that fit 4 adults well!

Great deal for the $. Wine and cheese was a nice surprise. Decent continental breakfast. Grateful for valet option especially in that area of town. Fun and curious...Up the stairs to go down to the lobby. Down the stairs to go up to our room.
Melissa, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Staff is great. This is a historic hotel which adds to the charm. It is city life so noise levels can increase as the day progresses.
Linda, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Absolutely amazing property to stay at. They were so welcoming and accommodating. They really went out of their way for our engagement and I appreciate the staff wholeheartedly. The location had some iffy spots around but really made the best out of it with an amazing stay and awesome food / drinks near by!
Dom, 2-night trip

It was clean and spacious. Just a lot of outside noise
Tami, 1-night trip

Kuongsim, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

It’s not necessarily a family spot due to the homeless situation right outside the hotel. There were several incidents occurring during our two nights, gun fire, constant sirens, homeless men screaming at 3 in the morning. Inside the hotel is average to decent. Staff and housekeepers were good.
Bryant, 2-night trip

8/10 Good

The hotel is clean and has friendly staff, which is convenient for shopping and sightseeing.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

I stayed in a single room and a double room. They were completely different! The single room was in much worse condition (peeling paint, old carpet, musty smell, and window on construction site), but the double room was lovely (spacious, a big bay window, updated washroom). Breakfast was underwhelming, location was good/central, but on the edge of a less-desirable area.
Sean, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

A classic style hotel, everything was really good!
Javier Gonzalez Guerra, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

The smell in the room was horrible. The nice looking furniture is not comfortable and just takes space in the room. Everything is worn and not maintained.
Michael, 4-night trip

10/10 Excellent

convenient location and extremely helpful staff
Kathryn, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

So nice and so accommodating! We were quickly checked in earlier than expected.
1-night trip

8/10 Good

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 4 at the hotel. The room was very generously-sized and the historic building quite lovely. We could have used another mug in the kitchen but other than that we had what we needed. There was street noise and it was a bit stuffy because there is no AC but those were small issues that didn’t disrupt our good time. The continental breakfast was useful to have food at hand and reduce costs. Very centrally located and we never felt unsafe. Similar to Seattle in that regard. All in all, a very affordable hotel that more than delivers on its promises.
Laurel, 3-night trip

8/10 Good

The property is very cost-effective. It is clean, the staff takes good care of the guests. The furnishings & vibe could be updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay & would return.
