Reception staff terribly rude and unhappy Restaurant staff amazingly friendly Concierge service by phone and by mail a disaster. All our booking from car at airport to private guide was not booked by hotel after even e-mail confirmation. So you should organise all by yourself and only have dinner at panoramic restaurant which was delightful

Great hotel- clean, comfortable beds, seems recently renovated, great and friendly helpful staff. I understand it is family run- the dedicated, responsive staff seems to bear that out with friendliness and flexibility. Location cannot be beat (walking distance to Acropolis/Museum), and the hotel’s rooftop view of the Acropolis is superb. Rooftop restaurant food also first rate fresh, creative and delicious. Wait staff could not be more professional, attentive and nice. We had a great stay, and wound up eating at the rooftop restaurant repeatedly, always perfect meals.

This hotel is beautiful, safe place, within walking distance to historical landmarks, has a fine restaurant with gorgeous views of the famous landmarks like Parthenon, Temple of Zeus, Lycabettus Hill, etc. Clean room. Has a beautiful Library to sit & relax, nice lobby area. Excellent hotel overall. Full Buffet Brkfst selections are delicious & lots of choices.

I stayed at the Royal Olympic 2 years ago and loved the hotel. Unfortunately this time the hotel was really old and rundown. I even was in the same room, so I can say with certainly that the room was awful. The curtain was torn, prior guest food was left in the mini refrigerator. The roof top bar was closed. I used to recommend this hotel but noever again will I.

The hotel built long ago and for 5 star it should be renovate, the furniture are very faded colour. The public area is nice, it seems weird to pay for cappuccino at breakfast. The bed was very comfort. So it is fine hotel but for 5 star someone has to invest for quiet total room renovation.
