Great location and affordable
The location of the hotel is very good. It is in the UBC campus with a nice beach in walking distance. I went there to watch the sunset. The bed is twin size. The price is very affordable. Great for single travellers.

I would highly recommend this property for one’s stay in Vancouver. It has everything that you need in order to travel in a relaxed manner, they have washers and dryers which allows you to pack less clothing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and truly ready to assist you when you need. The one downside that I would say about the property is the location seeing as how it is a bit far from downtown Vancouver you can easily get a bus pass from the shoppers on campus.

Despite having to make the bed myself, they left sheets and blankets on the bed, and removing four long hairs from the sheets and blankets, I would stay here again. As the Travelodge, I used to always stay at in Langley, has doubled in price. The walls are thin. Heard someone snoring late last night.

Quiet environment around the facility.
Best value for overnight stay in Vancouver.
Plenty of amenities nearby but it will be a long walk to get there and back.
Public transportation does not run frequently during the summer months.

Staying at the uni forms, but the area is very walkable and tons of buses.
The beach over the road, staff are nice let me check in at 9am
You are staying on campus so there are students running around making noise. But not too bad
Recommend if you want to spend your money on your holiday not your hotel

Very decent and comfortable accommodation on a beautiful campus. The hostel staff were very approachable and eager to help. To follow up on another reviewers critique of the rather firm mattress, I that could be remedied with an extra blanket mattress buffer. The ambient hallway noise (doors closing) was normal for a dorm environment, it was usually quiet by 10pm. I’m someone who fairly sensitive to noise and it didn’t bother me.
