I stayed in room 3317. I got bug bites. My wife had major loose motion after having their breakfast buffet. There is also a bad smell in the room and hallways. Staff is super friendly but because of these factors I recommend not staying at this property.

Huge clean room, comfortable bed, very nice a/c, nice buffet breakfast with good coffee. Very good value. So close to the airport. Only addition would be a hair dryer, but certainly not a deal breaker. There is ongoing construction on the main road (7/24) which adds a little to the time travel to and from and the noise - also, not a deal breaker.

Great Airport Hotel Option

Wonderful option for a hotel close to the airport. The room was very (!) large, nice amenities, clean and a friendly staff. There was some confusion at checkout about payment (they asked for my card when I had prepaid and seemed confused about why they didn’t know that) and they almost tried to get me to pay for a restaurant bill that was not mine - but they were apologetic for the confusion and did not press me for money I did not owe. I would absolutely recommend the location but encourage you to review the details when leaving.

Not Safe for Travelers – Bags Opened by Staff

If you leave money in your bags and step out of your room, expect to be robbed. From my repeated visits to Tanzania, I've learned to carry all valuables with me at all times. I also photograph my bags before leaving the room to monitor whether anything has been disturbed. At this particular hotel, the staff proved to be untrustworthy. I deliberately positioned a luggage tag on the right side of my suitcase and placed my backpack against the wall. Both were clearly opened while I was away, but since I hadn’t left any cash inside, nothing was taken. It's deeply troubling how frequently theft occurs, and how little integrity is shown in such establishments. In Tanzania, the penalty for theft can be 5 to 7 years in prison. Incidents like this make it clear that serious action should be taken—starting with holding hotel staff accountable.

Avoid this hotel

The porter was very friendly and that is were the service stopped. I left 2 small bags at the hotel on the Friday before check in, it took them ages to find it. The staff at reception was super unfriendly and not helpful. I had an early check out and asked for 2 eggs and some fruit, they said they would organise it. When I arrived at the desk at 3 am there was nothing. I sent a message tl the hotel to tell them my time of arrival and if there will be a hotel transfer, I received NO response. I had to ask someone to contact the hotel. On arrival the hotel transfer was waiting for other guests and got a taxi for me, the taxi broke down and I had to take a bajajis. There are lot of road works. I would not recommend this hotel There is only a hand held shower and no soap in the dispenser. The hotel needs an upgrade, it is over priced!
