The room was very hot, maybe 26-28°C during the whole stay with no cooling available except opening the windows. The windows were old and poorly insulated so they barely canceled any noices from the extensive traffic outside. The curtains in the room did not block light well, which would have been highly needed in the norwegian spring with sunrise at 4 in the morning. The combination of very high room temperature, a lot of sunlight and a lot of noices is not what you want for a good nights sleep. The room was also clearly worn overall, the door wouldnt lock until a few minutes later. The breakfast was good but it was hard to find a free table or chair in the mornings. However, the service on the hotel was good.The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great.

Great family hotel

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of a week skiing in Norway. The hotel had a great location in the city in easy reach of the light rail, train and bus routes. The family room was a great layout and very comfortable and clean. Staff were extremely helpful and their spoken English was great. The cleaners always spoke when we passed them in the corridor which was lovely. Breakfast was amazing - the best we have had in a city hotel in a long time. The restaurant atmosphere was calm and relaxed and we felt that the children were very much welcome in the hotel. There was a huge choice of cold and hot food as well as a good choice for vegan and gluten free diets. We made use of the 'to go' coffee cups at the end of breakfast to take out into the city before we left. Highly recommend, great value for money and would stay here again if we were to stop over night in Bergen in the future.

Location was excellent. Staff were mostly helpful. Rooms were terribly small and had only two plugs. One was at the desk at the foot of the bed, which was not helpful for plugging in a CPAP machine, the other was at floor level across from the bathroom. No plug near the bed.

Syns hotellet hadde veldig lite sitteplasser under frokosten, og konferanse rommet helt i andre enden var meget usjarmerende og innbydende. Så heller ikkje noen som ryddet bordene i denne enden. Rommene var helt ok. Bra renhold. Syns hele hotellet var nokså simpelt. Blir nok ikkje å bo der igjen.

Sentralt i Bergen. Små rom. Ville ha med en kopp kaffe ut fra hotellet etter frokost og spurte om å få et engangskrus for å ikke ta med meg porselenskrus. Det fikk jeg, men måtte betale 29 kroner for det. Unødvendig! Neste gang blir porselenskruset med ut.

Mottagelse i resepsjonen var ikke bra. Jeg har tidligere snakket med to andre i resepsjonen over tlf som gjorde meget bra jobb. Rommet var så lite at det ikke var funksjonelt, rom 532. Ingen plass til koffert eller tøy. Imidlertid var det rent. Meget god mat og service rundt dette.

Wir würden nicht wieder dieses Hotel wählen. Das Zimmer das wir erhielten war sehr dreckig und auf dem Boden lagen noch Chips und anderes von den Vorgängern. Als wir das der Rezeption mitteilten, passierte nichts. Auch die tägliche Reinigung des Zimmers die wir wünschten, funktionierte nicht.
