Highly recommend

This was a really nice place. There are 8 cabins with comfortable beds, a heater a short wooden path to some large bathrooms and really nice kitchen/common area. I took advantage of the public pool down the street for my last night in Iceland. You won't want to miss the lighthouse at sunset either. Such a great ending to an amazing vacation!

Fantastic first night in Iceland!

Our iStay cottage was clean and simple. A great first night in Iceland. The view out our windows of the lupine was beautiful. It looked a bit like Animal Crossing in the best way! What is not mentioned is the property has a fully stocked common room - kitchen and dining area. Designed for preparing meals, refrigerator and cabinet space.

Was nice but could be better

Seems like the place should be groomed with a weed eater. Stuff growing over the walkways. I use CPAP and there was not a plug in at what the host made the "head of the bed". I had to move the pillow to the other end of the bed, so I could plug in my equipment for sleeping. When you normally get up in the night to go to the bathroom, having an external bathroom is not convenient. The room looked and felt new and clean and it was close to the central kitchen area. We did not eat while we were there. Arrived 8:45pm and departed 8:45am

Great little place as a stop off either on the way to or from the airport - really good, comfortable base. Great parking, fantastic and well stocked community kitchen. Our stay here was an ideal way to end our trip to Iceland. It is located in a peaceful and quiet area, close to the airport and car rental locations, which made an early morning flight conveniently easier. The room was sparkling clean and spacious, and the amenities were perfect. The shower and heated towel rack were A+. We also loved that the TV had streaming services available that were already logged-in (with accounts for each cabin), meaning we didn’t have to use our personal accounts. The central kitchen area was great for breakfasts, and the parking and pathway system made rolling our luggage to and from the car easy. I would absolutely stay here again.
