The hotel had a perfect location to hop on the Metro and to take the train as well as convenience to restaurants, shops and the Saturday market. The public rooms and sleeping rooms were gorgeous and clean, and the hotel staff was helpful and knowledgeable We enjoyed cocktails in Le Bar and dinner in The Brasserie restaurant, both in the hotel. The service at Lausanne Palace is outstanding. Wilson the concierge helped us plan a day of wine tasting and went above and beyond. The check in team were so friendly and attentive. The rooms are lovely and it’s located up the hill from the train station so it’s super convenient.

The Lausanne Palace is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed. The staff is extremely helpful. The concierge Cindy went out of her way to help me easily navigate the city including recommending the best chocolate shops. The hotel lobby bar was a great morning spot for tea and a croissant. The hotel even had a cigar bar. Highly recommend.

Great Hotel, bad restaurant

The hotel is beautiful and recently renovated. Excellent service and huge rooms. I would advise customers to avoid the hotels restaurant as it is outrageously expensive eith poor quality food. Further, I left my set of ipods at the restaurant/hotel and they never reached out for its return. I would return to the hotel, but never to its restaurant.

A True Palace Experience

I travel very often to Switzerland but had never stayed at the Lausanne Palace. I must say that from now on, this gem of a hotel will be my home-away-from-home. The location, comfort, elegance, service and cleanliness are all without par. I stay at Lausanne Palace on a regular basis for more than a decade. One of the better properties in Lausanne. One thing to check if planning a vacation during the hot summer months: how strong is the AC? Many hotels in Switzerland are transitioning to an eco-friendly air conditioning systems which are extremely inefficient and don’t produce enough cooling. Please be aware
