The position of this hotel is very close to bryggen(0.2miles) It is next to the Bergenhus Fortress. Also it is very close to the flybussen stop ( the bus to airport). The room is a little small but clean. Also, the clerks are very friendly.

Great stay just outside the heart of Bergen's Bryggen area, right next to the fortress. We had no view out the window, but the business category room was a good size and bathroom very large for Europe. We also appreciated having laundry available (washer and dryer) on site, for a fee, for hotel guests. The building has no air conditioning, which was an issue when we stayed due to the July heatwave, but the front desk let us borrow a small fan which at least provided a tiny bit of moving air in the room.

We liked the location of the propeety. On the day of departure the breakfast buffet was supposed to open at 6:30 am. On the morning of departure we were told that summer hours were in effect and the breakfast wos not available until 7am. We had made plans based upon breakfast at 6:30 and the later start messed up the whole morning. Otherwise the hotel was great
