Disappointed to find that there was no shuttle service to & from the airport (the reason I chose the hotel). Per claim in Expedia there was supposed to be a shuttle service; instead had to get a taxi. Another dissappointment was that the lobby was humid; this was true for most of the property.The male staff in the lobby was not as efficient as the female staff in terms of accomodating, friendliness, efficiency and attitude. Only two observations worthy of mention is the service of Li Hongying in the dining area. She greeted guests as they enter, asked what was needed, made suggestions, converse with guests to make them feel welcomed and other things that house host would normally do for guests. Then there was the cleaning lady (that I did not get the name) on the eight floor. She was superb: very gentle, respectful, efficient in keeping rooms very clean; quietly going about her tasks in humble mannerism. One is struck that without her the hotel would be dilapitated in quick fashion.

We had a fantastic stay with our two kids here . We booked the kids room and it was clean and stocked with play toys. The staff here were all very courteous and kind. The food in the hotel was very inexpensive but tasted great ! We would definitely recommend this hotel !

The Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast had a large variety of foods and was delicious. The location of this hotel gave you the opportunity to see the works of individuals in their own element. I was glad to have see my layover in Xiamen. Xiamen is truly a Diamond in the rough.
