Arrangement of taxi to the hotel and train station (do use their service), good advice on where to eat. They arranged a guided tour for us by an extremely knowledgeable and tireless guide. "Nice place has a lot of potential. Took more money than what agreed through Expedia. Not the most helpful of people ask for ice on a couple of occasions to no help. The fridge is terrible for keeping anything close to cold. Asked for an iron but to no help. They do not change the bedsheets on every occasion of housekeeping. Get your money exchanged else where they don’t give a good rate. They think customer service is a smile only. For a four star hotel it behaves as a two star. "

"I am happy with my stay , I was really looking for a traditional Moroccan place to stay and Ryad Alya did not disappoint. The architecture is very traditional and I can feel the local tradition in my stay. They also served the best traditional Moroccan breakfast and Idris was so nice to wait for me for my late check in and also for providing me good breakfast himself. I recommend this place in your next trip and they also have a transfer from the airport or from the train to this place."

The location is great for accessing the medina, and we found the street parking to be both convenient and very safe. "Cute pretty classic riad in the middle of the medina but off a side street. Very quiet. Great value for the money. Not too hard to find; good signage at the turnoff from the main walkway of the medina! As with most medina riads, you will need to walk in from the wall gate so be able to manage your luggage. Some steep stairs to rooms. Pleasant continental breakfast, which was even provided to us very early when needed. Host very accessible and helpful. However I would not recommend the guide who was provided by hotel - get one off an internet service. Associated restaurant Mom's Touch was fabulous. Also had a great time with cooking class at Cafe Clock. "

"Wonderful, luxurious stay in the heart of the Old City of Fes. The staff was exceptional in every way. By dinner of our first day we were recognized and addressed by name. Nothing appeared to be any trouble. The Riad was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The dinning options were satisfying and ordering off menu was available (within reason). The front desk was helpful in arranging, city tours, drivers and guides. I would definitely stay here upon a future visit to Fes. "

"I had a wonderful stay at Dar Drissi. The service was exceptional from the start. The hosts arranged someone to meet me at the airport, and once we arrived in the Medina, another kind person carried my luggage and guided me through the winding streets to the riad. That initial guidance was incredibly helpful, as Dar Drissi is tucked away in a quiet spot that would be hard to find otherwise. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room, which had a beautiful window opening into the center of the riad. The room was comfortable and had its own bathroom with hot water. Each morning, I was treated to a generous traditional breakfast with a wide variety of items. Any questions I had were quickly answered via WhatsApp, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooftop area was another highlight—perfect for watching the sunset, with a peaceful view and the sound of birds all around. Overall, a very relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend."
