From the moment we arrived, the hosts made sure every detail was taken care of, creating an experience that was both comfortable and memorable. One of our highlights was the safari tour of Wilpattu National Park, which our hosts graciously arranged for us. The driver they connected us with was clearly experienced and knew all the best spots to find the animals we were hoping to see — it felt like a true insider experience! Back at the treehouse, I found myself fully immersed in the peaceful surroundings. Resting on a lounge chair and listening to the sounds of the jungle was the perfect way to unwind and reconnect with nature. This place offers more than just a stay — it’s a peaceful window into the natural beauty, kind people, and rich culture of Sri Lanka. We also truly enjoyed the authentic Sri Lankan meals, full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. I wholeheartedly recommend Wilpattu Tree House to anyone looking for a unique and serene getaway. "The main reason i score this hotel 1 star is because the hotel manager ripped me off on a tour.. he charged me 130 euro on the basis i was the only booking… he subsequently sold a couple later that day and charged them 80 euro each… of course i asked what they paid, so i was annoyed and told him… eventually he refunded approx 25 euro… not a good experience at all… One other small but interesting point.. one breakfast i didn’t get to choose from the menu.. i was served beef curry..without a choice, from the last nights dinner menu Don’t stay here!!!"
