"Hotel Butsugen is the absolute best and I immediately felt like part of the family. The breakfast and masala tea was great. Enjoy a Nepal beer on the rooftop with a view of the Boudhananth Stupa, which is only a five minute walk away. The rest of our group was staying at the Hyatt Regency and there is a very convenient back entrance to the Hyatt, also a five minute walk. Luggage storage was safe and secure during our two week trek. "

"Brand new hotel in Tinchuli near Boudhanath, very modern facility, great rooms with diverse layouts nicely accomodating both groups and solo travelers. Wonderful local neighborhood to explore and enjoy the activity around Boudha stupa. Hotel Sherpani is same quality as the big 4 star brand hotels I've stayed in ktm, but with more local culture. Hotel Sherpani rates are a great value in comparison as well. Love the top floor restaurant/terrace/chill area, my favorite view in ktm. Highly recommend."
