"I have spent the past nine months traveling and living throughout Ecuador. I can say Hosteria Campana Caballo is the premiere destination for anyone coming to Ecuador who appreciates fine food, great accommodations, unbelievable scenery, and serenity."

"Pleasant reception at the front desk. Room had no soap or shampoo products in the shower, and no glasses available. Window blinds were stained, not pretty. Breakfast was mediocre. "

"The hotel was amazing! Just a beautiful stay. I stayed with my fiancé in the delux suite and it was so worth it! Jacuzzi was incredible! Service was excellent. Didn't really like the breakfast offered but everyone's option is different on that! Overall 5 star stay in Cuenca Ecuador"

"We loved all about our stay here. The check in was easy and convenient. The host helped us via WhatsApp with all our questions. We booked the room with a window towards the street. It was super clean and tastefully furnished. The breakfast included freshly prepared fruit salad, fresh juice coffee/tea, scrambled egg and an assortment of bread. Perfect to kick off the day. "

"Hotel confused me for my sister who had a separate reservation. Even though I have platinum status she received the upgraded room. We had identified this at the time of checkin.
Service by hotel staff was way beyond expectations. We had two non hotel issues and hotel staff went out of their way to resolve. Can’t say enough about the staff.
Breakfast items were limited in types but items all were high quality so it balances out. "
"Charming, older property. Breakfast provided in the morning. Maria(host) was very accommodating & nice. Good location to walk almost everywhere or catch a cab if needed. Restaurants & stores nearby. Soap provided, but bring your own amenities (shampoo, conditioner). Hair dryer available to borrow from front desk. Enjoyed our stay. "
"Los Balcones is a great place to stay while traveling in Cuenca - location is perfect & staff are friendly. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment & found it to be very comfortable during our 5 nights "
"It had what one needs, without being luxurious, it had a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms were modern and comfortable."
"The staff were excellent and very attentive throughout our stay. The room was spacious with a wonderful view of the city. Location is at walking distance from many restaurants and stores. Breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay here again if we ever re-visit the city."
"Our stay was fantastic. We really enjoyed the rooms since they were nice, quiet, and clean, but a bit cold. We also loved the buffet-like breakfast. The food was great. "
"Beautiful establishment. The front desk attendant was extremely understanding and accommodating with our late check-in. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Highly recommend!"
