"The hotel is a couples retreat with a fabulous private spa experience available complete with 2 jacuzzis, sauna, steam room and your own bottle of Prosecco and fruit! The breakfast in the courtyard was charming with a tremendous assortment to choose from! The valet parking is rare for a city hotel so getting in and out is very easy! The bathroom is our room was a modern artistic wonder! Easily the best I have seen in Sicily at this price! The staff look after every need with great pride and attention. The Duomo is 3 blocks aways with over 100 hundred food and beverage options! This is easily the best couple's romantic retreat at this price on Sicily. A small boutique hotel who is going to turn heads! I highly recommend this property!"

"I always have a hard time finding a hotel when traveling since I don’t know the area. Etna Suites was a perfect choice! We arrived late from Washington DC, after their hours, they sent complete directions on how to access the hotel. The room was quite roomy along with a large private bathroom. The a/c was strong! I didn’t have much interaction with the front desk, we didn’t need to. But they are there if you need anything. This was a great area for walking to shop/eat/explore. Their breakfast was quite good. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Thank you!!!"

"What an excellent three days! Nestled in a picturesque country setting surrounded by olive trees, the hotel exudes refined Sicilian elegance with a modern twist. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. The rooms were large and elegant, reflecting the hotel's atmosphere. The pools a definite 10 out of 10. The quality and variety of the food were exceptional. The food is a celebration of Sicilian culinary traditions, full of flavour, and made with fresh local ingredients. The landscape around the property was postcard-perfect, with breathtaking panoramic views and amazing sunsets. Looking forward to returning soon!"

"The property is well kept. Quiet and it is kept clean. However, there is lightning missing outside and especially in the room ( bathroom) way too dark. "

"Outstanding hotel. Located walking distance to all of the sights, the hotel really helped make our first trip to Catania one to remember. They upgraded our room, provided us with directions and dining recommendations. When we wanted to see a teatro du pupi they helped arrange a reservation on a local show down the street. The room was spacious and art deco with a patio. Breakfast was delicious and they made eggs and coffee upon request. Highly recommend! "

"Just returned from a five-night stay at Casa Vendicari and already wishing we were back! The hotel is absolutely stunning — we stayed in a room with a bath and it was a perfect 10/10. Everything was spotless, with rooms cleaned each morning before we even finished breakfast. The whole place has such a warm, welcoming feel — with incredibly friendly staff who went out of their way to help, offering great local recommendations and even booking restaurants for us throughout our stay. We were travelling with our three-year-old, and they made everything so easy. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Our experience could not have been better. We are three American Senior women and the hotel went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. All the staff was excellent, especially Giacomo at the front counter who gave us explicit instructions and directions and also Antonio the bar manager who went out of his way to make our experience extra special, even telling us about the special Prosecco."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable mattress with a great AC unit!!! Important on those hot Sicilian nights. I rented the suite which was very spacious and full of 18th century charm. The host was very informative at check in, explaining how to navigate the city center. All staff were wonderfully friendly. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. A highlight was a private tour of the main palazzo, built in 1726. "

"We stayed at Baglio for four nights and we felt very sad to leave. We liked everything there, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the property, the excellent breakfast and the superb dining experience at the Manna restaurant, the manicured gardens and the lush swimming pool area with its centenary olive trees and various species of cactuses brimming with cicadas, the cocktails and granitas served at the pool bar, the discrete room service… in summary, we liked just everything there and we’ll certainly consider going back. "Terrible experience. We were two couples and booked 2 double rooms. 2 hours before checking in we received a link to go to a different a accommodation location than the one we booked with no explanation. It was a residence not a hotel. No Reception at new location, nowhere to buy a coffee or water (not even a vending machine), beach was 15 minutes drive by car unlike the hotel we booked. Breakfast was served in a run-down coffee shop15 minutes drive from residence and food selection was dismal. Luckily we had a car. Furniture in balcony consisted of a 2 rusty chairs and table. Defective TV in room only worked a few minutes then stopped. During our stay we noted that other guests at the Residence also experienced the same scam that we suffered. Shame on the Management."
