Nice clean room, nicely decorated , typical Italian breakfast with home made cakes, it’s a lovely family run hotel less than 10 minute walk to the UNESCO world heritage site and restaurants.
It’s a perfect base for exploring other areas around.
We stayed 3 nights and took out the quad excursions, which was amazing and I would recommend to any one from beginners to the adrenaline junkies...

"We’ve had an incredible holiday staying at Carlos V suite in an annex building just down the lungomare from the main boutique hotel.
We had our own rooftop terrace with sun beds and chairs and a Juliet balcony to watch people go by during the evening whilst drinking primitivo wine.
All the hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the food at their restaurant was outstanding.
Monopoli is a perfect base to stay and hire a car to take you to other quaint historic towns such as Polignano a mare, Ostuni and Alberobello. We took the train from monopoli to Leece for the day too.
We particularly loved Monopoli and the daily 3 minute walk to breakfast was enjoyable.
We certainly recommend staying at Don Ferrante and in the Carlos V suite as it had everything we needed.
Monopoli has many bars and restaurants too and is a very picturesque old town, next to the Castello.

We are an extended family made up of two grandparents, three families, and kids ranging from 10 to 17 years old, and for the past ten years, we’ve chosen Alborea Eco Lodge as our summer holiday destination. Every time it confirms our love for it—and every time, it’s hard to leave.
Once again this year, the nautical activities were a big hit, especially with the kids, who enthusiastically took part in windsurfing, sailing, and canoeing.
The food this year was perhaps the best we’ve had in the past ten years. A sincere thank-you and congratulations to the entire kitchen staff.
