"There are two good reasons to stay at the Hotel Oberhofer - the incredible view and the equally incredible staff!
The view from our room 205 was spectacular and to be able to sit out on the balcony and gaze in wonder at it was priceless. The next best thing about this hotel is the staff - they are all so kind, welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them - and special shout outs to Paolo who rushes about tirelessly making sure every guests needs are met swiftly in the restaurant and the bar, and to Maria who went above and beyond to help us during our stay 🙏 thank you
As for the hotel itself, it is modern and spacious, the rooms are large and very comfortable, bed was good, separate bathroom and toilet also nice touch. Undercover parking available too was a bonus.
Fantastic pool and sauna/steam rooms and relaxation areas.
Only negative points we found were, shower over the bath was not ideal and the shower head bracket was broken meaning it would not stay in place, the sliding doors on the wardrobe were also broken and didn’t run properly to open/close, and the kettle lid was broken and fell off when pouring water but these small items did not spoil our enjoyment of the place and we would definitely 100% return here. "
"Wow, why why why did I book only one night here?
Everything was so good. All rooms - everything - is completely new, spacious, clean, and the owners are so nice!
We arrived after a very long day and were worried we would not find a restaurant. We discovered that out of 3 restaurants in Neder - one, and a very good one i might say, is INSIDE the hotel! Elva has a restaurant as part of the premises. I ordered Wiener schnitzel, my son Goulash, was perfect. The red wine we were recommended was also very good.
Rooms are very equipped, nice terrace to watch the view and chill, and everything is spotless. Also price was cheap IMO relative to value.
We will be back next year!

The best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and accommodating. There was at least one owner in house who was very charming and made us feel very welcome. "We would stay again, but not when the weather is at all warm. There is no air conditioning, which made a stay on the top floor very uncomfortable at night. There was a tabletop fan in the room, but it made a lot of noise."

"Out of all the places we stayed during our 16 day family vacation/European road trip, this is the only one that was a total bust. We're not picky or hard to please, but from the rude attendant during check-in to the ever-present smell of cigarettes, to the loud neighbors and run-down/dated furnishings and uncomfortable beds, it's honestly difficult to find something nice to say. Breakfast was good and included in the price. There. That's one nice thing.
Bottom line: it's a dump. Do not recommend."
"We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff at the reception, bar and restaurant were outstanding. The breakfast and dinner were both generous and had a wide selection. The ski storage area and the easy access to the lift were fantastic. The only two things that could be improved are the wine selection in the bar and raising the temperature a bit in the outside warm pool"
