"The staff went above and beyond to make my experience stellar. Always eager to help and make your experience incredible The views and pool are some of the best aspects of this property. Especially given how rare a pool can be. The only thing which prevented me from giving a full five stars on everything, was certain parts of the house and facilities are showing sign of wear. All of which can be easily fixed. Some folks who are used to a hotel experience need to reevaluate their expectations. I would put this property on par with a B&B which has grown a "little tired with wear.""

"An absolutely fantastic stay, directly adjacent to the ferry terminal, with excellent views over the lake, and a great breakfast. I like that Verbania is less full of tourists than Stresa, but still has a wonderful waterfront, great restaurants, etc."

"Really enjoyed this hotel. Have a nice bar that you can also access from outside. Beautiful beach and pool area. It is about a 12 minute walk to the ferry. And sometimes it can be slightly noisy. My neighbor kept me up fighting with her boyfriend. Finally called down to the desk and they had it resolved in less than 5 minutes. My friends also got their laundry washed by hotel. So that was a great service. Lots of cruise liners (Viking) use that hotel. Again quite beautiful. "

"We had a great 3 night stay at this lovely, good value hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony with a wonderful lake view. The breakfast included in the price offers a great choice of cold cut meats, cheeses, bread, jams and cereals. But what really made our stay memorable was the staff. The kind male owner was so friendly at check in, offering lots of literature and information for local restaurants, transport and events. And when we left to move to our next hotel in the next town of Stresa 15 minutes drive away, he had one of his team drive us there - what more can you ask of a hotel. We will be back. "

"Just Google this wonderful Duchess of a Hotel. Everything was a joy, yes she is old and a little dated but that's the fun of the amazing experience of staying there."

"Denisa was a wonderful receptionist, so helpful and caring. Hotel is clean, only thing we did not like at the restaurant was for dinner we were served meatballs which we did not ask for and we really couldn't eat since my daughter does not eat meat, but we still got charged for it. Just check your receipt, other than that it is an awesome place to stay."

"We have eaten at their restaurant many times in the past and thought how nice it would be to stay the night. The hotel is a typical Italian 3 star. The room was spotlessly clean, excellent shower, electric fan, kettle and mini bar. There were cans of mineral water in the mini bar but no price list. They cost €2 each! Something I found annoying was it cost €10 to park in the hotel car park! Some on line listings say that parking is free. Most annoying is that the restaurant menu is so limited. Only about 3 choices for each course. We were very disappointed as were others staying at the hotel as we saw many of them in the restaurant we chose to eat at. This is, apparently, something new! Breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve ever had in Italy. The only negative is the fruit juice. "

"It was even better than expected!! We only stayed for one night and wish we could have stayed more. The room was a great amount of space. We had an unexpected view that made our hard day of travel so much better! Other than some mold on the ceiling that no one else in my family noticed everything was super clean! If Primavera is in your budget range, I’d say go for it! I wasn’t sure but I definitely don’t regret it! "
