"We stayed for one night and would definitely stay again. The room was spacious and my daughters loved having their own beds versus sharing a sofa bed. Room was very clean and a/c worked well. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The area was quiet but only a few minutes walk to the train station, shopping and restaurants. The tower was an easy 15 minute walk. Staff were helpful and shuttle to airport was quickly arranged. It is easy to walk to the station to go to/from the airport but it was pouring so nice to have the shuttle option. "

"Old classic hotel by the river, great location with easy walk to the Dome and Tower and just 13 min walk from the train station. The hotel is old style but in very good shape, I got a room with river view and it was well worth it. Loved Pisa, underrated stop in la Toscana. Staff makes a great aperitif and there is a very nice terrace to enjoy a sit down. Would stay again."

"The hotel is centrally located between the train station (right across the plaza) and the Tower. The shower was great, the bed was comfortable and the staff was beyond helpful and friendly, especially Sylvia. She gave us a tip on a great restaurant that is right around the corner and set us up with a friendly taxi driver to/from the Tower. "

"Location was very excellnt for tourist sites. Wifi was fast and reliable. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly particularly Marta who was just fantastic! Breakfast was good but variety and could be improved. Our room had a large balcony which was extremely useful. Snacks were provided eg toasted sandwich as room service but variety and quality could be improved. A nice hotel to stay at."

"Great afternoon by the pool. Evening meal menu was odd. I think the chef was trying too hard to be different. The vegetarian chick pea dish was merely a bowl of cooked onions with some vegetable mush- my wife called it baby food. The chicken with truffles was tasty although came with flabby chicken skin. Breakfast was amazingly good in comparison. We had a room with a view of a 6 foot tall hedge, beyond the hedge was a fantastic view of Tuscany we couldn’t see, really strange. Staff were very good, the pool pleasingly cold and refreshing. Good but not a great stay."

"Property is beautiful everywhere you turn, straight out of a movie! Hotel is located at the top of a mountain and you get to over see the vineyards and cities., absolutely beautiful views. The only downside is the hotel only has 2 restaurants that offer diner and they alternate on which night they are opened, you also need reservations in advance and even then tables with a view are not guaranteed. "

"Exceptional views from this property. The room was for 4. It had a rustic farm house vibe. Unfortunately there was mold in the bathroom and a nest of spiders in the beams above the bed (which my husband was happy to sleep under - so we ignored). There is no noise insulation between floors and you can hear other guests above you, but everyone was respectful and noise minimal. The spare blankets in the cupboard needed a wash and were unusable. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable. The infinity pool was great and generally quiet creating a relaxing atmosphere. You need a car if you stay in one of the annexes otherwise you would have to walk up a hill. We had access to a balcony and a common area. The kitchen was accessible but you are not allowed to use unless you book an apartment.) Breakfast was very good and the terrace is amazing. We only had interaction with two staff members. One was lovely, friendly and helpful. The other was the complete opposite, which ruined some of the shine. Overall lovely place to stay, fantastic grounds and we will definitely try and visit again!"

"We loved our stay. The hotel had really nice breakfasts included and the pool was fantastic after a hot day walking around the old city. We had a standard room and we were expecting it to be small. It was very small - it was difficult to find space for our cases and the shower was so small that it was hard to use it without banging your elbows. The room did include a nice outdoor balcony which made up for the super small room. The hotel was an easy walk into the old city."
