"The setting of the hotel is superb – nice beach (the water has great mineral quality to it), different walks at the door step (Congo-Nile trail or lakeside paths, coffee washing station nearby is great to visit). The food is excellent (from the local vegetable and fruit garden) and rooms are spacious and well-maintained.
The downsides are 11 km of dirt track in poor condition (allow extra 10-15 min relative to google maps estimate) and rooms can be too warm at night (24C at night, no aircon)

However, on reaching there, they claimed to receive no acknowledgement and said they will allow for one night only. The rate we paid would cover only 1 night. The owner was very rude on the phone and refused to entertain the booking. He said we were welcome to complain to anyone / anywhere. He said he would de list from hotels.uk website.. We had to check out next day and search for another...
