"Lovely night away from the kids, just to two of us, room was clean, cared for and overlooking the bay. The village has lovely amenities and pool, exceptional staff and a great night away."

"Having red previous reviews, I was a little concerned about my stay. But I’m not too sure where these previous reviewer stayed, but my day was amazing. The room was amazing, Wallroom, very spacious very modern very well decorated. In the courtyard on the ground floor so access to some outdoor seating. "

"Great spot in there heart of Tenby. Nice bar area overlooking the sea. Lots of stairs which is not good for mobile issues, however their is a lift. Lovely new and fresh rooms with all new amenities, comfortable bed and amazing shower."

"Confortable beds,sea view, very clean.Good access via lift. I would advise bringing a door stopper as the doors are very heavy. Beach with easy access. We have seen lots of lovely people and lots of lovely dogs on the beach. The beach goes down far away at low tide and there are Rick pools then. The water is low so good for kids safety."

"The room (studio) was large, bright, clean and well decorated/carpeted, the bed/pillows comfortable, bathroom and kitchenette both clean. Excellent shower in the bathroom. We made use of the microwave and refrigerator during our stay. Despite the road outside, it was quiet at night. The restaurants, shops and beach are all within 10 minutes walk, a bit longer coming back up the hill. Parking available outside and easy reach, by car, to Tenby, Pembroke and all the other surrounding areas. We visited 3 excellent castles as well as spent time on the beach. Nothing really that I can criticise. Wifi good. We did not take breakfast so unable to comment on the staff and service. We had minimal contact with the staff, there was no need. "

"The reception staff were wonderful - nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charger at home and they lent me one for the weekend. The room was a single and clean, although the decor was dated (the description did say it was a Victorian building). I had breakfast both mornings at The Galley Restaurant which was an all you can eat. The food was hot and fresh and had everything you would expect for a buffet restaurant. I also ate in the hotel for the Saturday evening and was made to feel very welcome and at ease as a solo traveller. The food was nothing short of AMAZING! All in all, a lovely stay"

"The hotels about 5 minutes from folly farm and 15 minutes from Tenby. Room comes with everything you need - towels / hand soap / body wash / hair dryer / ironing board / kettle etc. breakfast was tasty as well with plenty of choice. Will definitely return "

"Thus is a second visit. Staff are fantastic. We had lovely breakfasts with goodcquality bacon and sausage. There is a large carpark which is a huge asset as parking in Mumbles is always tricky. It is a charming hotel and I hope they never change it."

My only minor complaint is that it's a shame the car park isn't subsidised. Other than that, I can't fault this place. "

"Stayed in room 3, amelia earhart room for 1 night. Room was clean but dated, the windows are single glazed so trains and traffic can be heard clearly, shower cubicle could do with a bit of elbow grease under door on inside to get rid of the mould. Could hear the other customers talking in the restaurant until late while in the room so of you're a light sleeper and need an early night, could be problematic. But, the staff are truly lovely and the food is fantastic. Would definitely stay again."

"Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. Room was beautiful and spotlessly clean in such a peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, filled me for the day, my Partner had Welsh Rarebit which she said was stunning. Looking at returning again next year, we won't leave it another near decade until next time, 10/10! "

"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."
