As I went up stairs to my room, I found the stair carpet and banister very dirty. The room was basic and clean and very noise. No worth the price charged. Hire a car if you want to do lots buses are hourly. You can walk to St Michael's Mount when the tide is out 3 pm at the moment otherwise the boats will take you across for a fee. The people are very friendly and great place for families. Beaches 8

"Loafs" for the best pasty I've ever had! And I've had a few in my 21 years in Cornwall. Thin glazed flaky pastry, stacked with juicy steak, very tasty and filling. None of it was left. Delish. 10/10.

Great area a bit of homelessness and seediness going on but no one bothered us. Lots of restaurants have closed down according to one proprietor. We walked on main road to Mousehole which was cute but not a lot there. Went more for the walk/exercise.
