"As a single woman I hate it when a receptionist openly states my room number for anyone to hear. Then inadequate signage in a series of corridors, a broken step, missing carpet treads, an uncomfortable mattress, rock hard pillows and a very poor shower all convinced me I will never return to this hotel. A shame because its location, the mill wheel and views are superb."

"The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. The inn itself is located next to a quiet and quaint village which is a short few minute drive into Newmarket which is loaded...
