"This was a one night stay as part of a trip. The hotel was really nice for budget price, plus it was in walking distance from the Cathedral and centre. Room was quite large and bed very comfy, nice bedding. All rooms here have showers but the bathrooms are modern and clean. Only downside was that parking was chargable, which i didnt think was mentioned on booking online, but it was safe and secure through gated access so i wasn't too bothered. Overall really nice stay."

"Superbe hôtel, facile d’accès avec un grand parking. Lobby confortable et superbe accueil du personnel. Le restaurant bien qu’un peu cher est très bon et agréable. Les chambres sont confortables et bien pensées. Je ne sais pas si j’avais des voisins mais je n’ai absolument rien entendu pendant mon séjour. Le seul bémol est une piscine non chauffé alors que la région je dirais l’impose. J’étais venu pour m’y baigner avec mon fils mais c’était trop froid. Un panneau d’accès pour la piscine ainsi que des peignoirs seraient un plus. Donc dans l’ensemble si on enlève le manque de confort pour la piscine l’hôtel était parfait."

"Stop for a night on a road trip, Real nice hotel, secure parking, easy check in-out. Nice room garden view, quiet, nice bathroom with shower, all very new and very clean. Great breakfast available. Overall very happy with our stay."

"Stopped overnight on our way down to our own place in the Charente. Plenty of parking around the chateau. Very pleasant staff and a lovely friendly German Shepperd dog to welcome you. Room was very clean, spacious and a most comfy bed and pillows. We had a lovely dinner in the evening but wanted to get on the road early in the morning so passed on the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Lastly, nice decking area to sit out on in the evenings."

"Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "

"This was a great hotel. Cute boutique style. Breakfast was excellent—you should get this one. Staff v friendly. You should pre book parking which we did. A little offsite but 3-5 min walk. Rooms were cute and we enjoyed our time there. "

"Expectations were not too high due to price we paid but we were pleasantly surprised. Check in seamless, parking right outside our door, spacious enough with large shower room. Very comfortable bed and separate communal rooms for eating close by room if wanted. For price we paid it was all we needed for a one night journey break. Very satisfied. Just for info there is no kettle on room but drinks stations available. Also only one pillow but didn't ask for additional so not sure if that is available. No complAints personally."

"Hotel très propre, les employés sont au petit soin, le restaurant est bon, le petit déjeuner bon. Petit bémol, j’avais la chambre 301 qui est proche de la chaufferie donc j’avais un bruit de fond de ronronnement mais avec mes boules quies j’ai néanmoins bien dormi. A savoir qu’on m’avait mis dans cette chambre comme j’avais demandé à avoir une vue sur le parking pour mon véhicule. Et malgré le fait d’avoir mis le thermostat au max je n’avais pas particulièrement une bonne sensation de chaleur; mais on n’y est malgré tout très bien et la propreté sur place m’a permis de me sentir tout de suite bien dans ma chambre."
