"We decided not to stay here as the location was much too far from the town and had no river view.
The official check in is 6pm which I find is far too late .
We contacted Hotels .com and they refunded our payment which we appreciate.
The place is probably ok for an overnight stay if not interested in visiting the chateau on foot.

Serge and Audrey are the hosts that live on site and are there to help help you in any which way possible. "This is a great value hotel that I stayed at with my family during our drive back to the UK from the south of France. The hotel itself is located at 25 minute walk from the centre of Amboise: we walked in and had a lovely meal and walk around the town, which is very beautiful.
We had four bicycles attached to our car and had some concerns about security during our holiday, but the parking at this hotel is very secure so there were no problems leaving our bikes locked to the car.
Our room had a great view of the Château, which was a nice surprise.
My only criticism is that for breakfast the plates provided are extremely small. It would be nice to have larger plates!
I would definitely stay here again.
