The rooms were clean and updated and the front desk staff was friendly. Parking is located at the supermarket parking lot, which is accessible to anyone. "This was one of the nicest places we stayed in our whole trip (5 weeks). We had a two bedroom bungalow which was very modern and comfortable.
Major pluses:
The kids had their own bedroom with proper beds (separate single beds and not sofa / pullout style);
**TWO** toilets!
Clothing storage in both bedrooms including hanging space;
Free self-serve coffee in the reception area;
Plush carpet and very large couch;
Very convenient to Europa Park."
"This is a fantastic hotel if you are visiting Colmar and want a 2 min walk to the train station. Itâs a less than 10 min walk to little Venice and other landmarks are close by after wondering through the beautiful village of Colmar. I also wanted to send a âthank youâ to the front desk and âPaulâ especially he went above and beyond for us last night to help dry our clothes that didnât quite air dry in our room. I was blown away by his kindness. He came up to our room took our clean damp clothes in a bag had them dried, even folded them and brought them back up to our room a hour later. What a wonderful employee Paul @ the Grand Hotel Bristol in Colmar is!! Thank you and we hope to come via again sometime in the future. "
