"The hotel was conveniently located near the city centre. It was handy to have a parking house in the same building. The room was fine and the beds were comfortable. A few tweaks would be good though: it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea/coffe and the bin in a bathroom was broken and it was odd that the cleaners hadn't spotted it. Breakfast was great and overall it was a great stay. "

"I've lived in Oulu and visit it around two times a year, and I can vouch that this is the best hotel in the city. Beautiful location right next to the city center. Modern hotel in a fantastically remodeled former hospital. The hotel did not get 5 stars because the breakfast was just "standard."

We had to call the customer service number in Germany to talk to someone who sent us another link to take pictures of our passports and of us to complete the verification which took another 20 minutes to verify. "We chose this property and drove out of our way to get to it because it advertised 4 pools and was kid friendly. The Expedia pictures even supported that. What it didn’t say was that upon our Sunday arrival, the pool and facilities would be closed at 3:30 pm (which was when we arrived) and the one and only restaurant in the area would close at 6.
When I asked if there were any pools open for our kids, we were told “the lake”. Lol thanks. Real helpful.
