Our room, although large, was really bare -- white walls, no art, and hard surfaces. We went to the pool for drinks and lunch and the service was downright awful due to seemingly inexperienced staff. The breakfast buffet was good. "

"The most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The character it has is unmatched, designed by a student of Gaudi. The best location ever, with the beach out the front and the square of the most adorable, walkable village right out the back. The “Family Room” was way bigger and nicer than the pictures showed, with a couch that pulled out to two separate twin beds for our teenagers, a king bed room that was separated by sliding doors, a sitting area with windows looking out over the beach and castle, large foyer, and very large bathroom. Like living in a dream for a few days!!"

Restaurant and pool service could be more attentive, but all staff are lovely. A car is needed to visit the many quaint neighbouring towns along the coast because there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity that you can walk to, other than the main beach strip which is very commercial."
