"All in all, fantastic apartment for the price and I would be happy book this again for my next longer stay in Odense. It's spatious, nicely decorated, functional, well-equipped and cosy. This was perfect, apart from a few small negatives: 1) Something about the bathroom plumbing system isn't ideal. The floor has some vent connected to the building system and there's a terrible odor filling the bathroom at random times. In good weather I could just open a window, but in winter this would be a bigger issue. 2) While the central location is great, I was surprised about the noise level at night coming through the bedroom windows. The hotel kindly provides some earplugs without asking, but on Friday night these were insufficient to deal with all the drunk shouting people on the street and it was difficult to find any sleep. Of course I realize that the hotel can hardly be blamed for this, but it's still relevant to know about this location if you prefer the quiet."
"Charming and comfortable lodging for anyone who doesn’t mind sharing a bathroom and isn’t expecting a spacious room and typical hotel amenities. There’s no in-room fridge or microwave, but there’s a kitchenette available to all. I would happily stay here again. Very helpful host."
"While comfortable, this hotel is kinda of far away from city so good to be driving off you plan to stay there. The breakfast spread was generous nonetheless and the staff are friendly and professional."
"Let's talk about the positives first. There is one - location. Nestled in the middle of a farm. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the surroundings. Also, the check in was quick.
The property itself is nothing to rave about. It's in desperate need of maintenance. Dust, spiders everywhere. TV doesn't work. Kettle leaks. Shower is super leaky and floods the bathroom. Half of the windows don't have blinds which means at 4 AM, it's filled with light.
The hostess seemed nice initially but kept insisting we pay cash so she can avoid paying taxes and fees. This was not mentioned at the time of the booking. Hotels.com charged me 27% in taxes and fees and she seemed to want to pocket it. We didn't have cash and she offered to accept card for an additional 5% fee. Absolutely ridiculous for an already expensive stay. She finally grudgingly accepted the payment through card. Plus she has this bad habit of talking over you. Does not want to listen to you anything you have to say.
Overall 2 star experience for 4 star prices. Wouldn't recommend."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at B&B Alloke. Our host provided great advice on local attractions & villages to visit plus restaurants in Nyborg. The room & location were excellent and quiet being in a rural setting plus the breakfast was very very good."
"Everything was as described in the information about the location. Not sure what happened to our breakfast being available in the room, but i am sure it was just an oversight.
"
"If you are looking for a decent & affordable lodging with a good breakfast option, and if you'll only use the room just for sleeping, this is the perfect place for you. Please keep in mind, the room is small, may not be a perfect option if you will be staying for extended hours during the day. In that case, I would recommend the same company's Windsor Hotel, which is 50 meters away."
"The staff was really nice and the meal at the restaurant was delicious. The only thing we think could be improved is the electricity in the rooms. It is due for a renewal. Otherwise everything was nice !"
"Great stay, only an overnighter and unfortunately due to flights arrived late, but really straight forward communication with the hotel, via email and phone and the room was available, spotless and clean and comfortable, the breakfast was simple but tasty and it made the journey to Munkebo super easy"
"This B&B is in a nice quiet area, but easily driveable to central Odense. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen for guest use was very convenient. The property is lovely. Our host was very kind and friendly, and the breakfast was amazing!"
