"A really nice hotel except they rent most of it out for weddings & then you are stuck listening to loud & annoying music until 2 a.m. in the morning. We didn’t sleep at all & for the cost this luxury hotel I didn’t expect this. If you are going to allow weddings then either rent the whole hotel to the wedding or warn other guests! I would not have stayed here had I known. Very little by way of breakfast or dinner (no vegan options)."

"The land lord didn’t even know we where coming. The bed linen smelled sour and the pillows and bed sheets felt very old. We couldn’t close our window which was on the first floor facing the parking area so when guests arrived at 23.30 with dogs, we were totally awake again. One bathroom for seven guests+ was also to little."

"I loved the fact that it was the fastest check-in ever.
But we were 3 people and only left two duvets and towels for two. They brought us duvet and towels as soon as we requested, but if you set 3 beds, you are supposed to set 3 of everything.
Also, our beds were not made during our stay of 4 nights.
Having said that, people there were really kind, it was super clean, gardens well kept.....overall I would recommend this hotel."

The castle is generally a little rundown (but nothing that ruins the grandeur of this once stately home)

We did have breakfast and it was excellent, with everything you may need to start the day with a full stomach - we took her out to sit in the gardens.
