"The rooms are great. View is great. Many good places to dine nearby. Train station right by the hotel. If possible take train to Hamburg. If by car, park the car by the hotel and take public transportation around the city. The breakfast buffet is a must have. It is superb. "

"Stayed in a duplex suite and it was outstanding. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. The view over the Alster is magnificent. The bathroom is vast with a powerful shower and fantastic toiletries by (Malin+Goetz). My 9 year old received just as warm a welcome, with his sofa bed made up, a monster-inspired cupcake, kids robe and slippers. A huge range at breakfast with super-friendly staff who gave my kid the right level of attention. "

The hotel is modern with special artwork, the bed and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Locations of the bar and restaurant are right on the reception floor, the drinks and food were very good. "Very nice hotel and convenient, right next to train stations, lake and shops, plus bars and restaurants. Some construction was happening at the hotel while I stayed, meaning it was quite loud at times. But it wasn’t very detrimental to my experience. I would strongly recommend staying here "

"Arrived before 11pm, exhausted after a long hard drive! Total confusion as there are two separate Hotels with the same name! Security guard showed me and let me in the underground car park but on check in was told it was the other hotel, same company but the other side of a busy road! I’m disabled and on crutches carrying my bags. The kind security man escorted me across to the other hotel! Redemption! The receptionist had been expecting me, handed me my electronic key but then said he could switch me to a ground floor room. There was a lift but he said this would be better for me as it had a disabled friendly bathroom! He carried my bags and checked out the room, went and got me a bottle of water and some chocolate!!! I was out like a light! Well done that man… 👍💕"

"Perfect for a couple of nights for a trip to see Ed Sheeran at the Volkpark stadium. Only 15 mins drive from the airport, short taxi ride to the stadium and a 45 minute walk back. Breakfast was really good and not too busy. Would definitely recommend. "
