"It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to!
Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building.

My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though."

"I loved how it was right in the village. The staff was so friendly! The room was smaller, but I was alone and it’s all that I needed. The bird was comfortable and TV worked. They offered parking, but we'd already parked in a public lot, but it seemed convenient. Breakfast was good. Our shower wasn't the best. Had to hold the shower head, as there wasn't anywhere to hang it high enough to use it hands free. But it got the job done. Wish we'd stayed another night it was so pleasant."
