"We had a wonderful stay at the Avalon hotel. Its really modern and a short walk into the centre of Bad Reichenhall, which is a beautiful town. The breakfast was excellent and the staff really friendly. Its a great base to explore the area, would definitely recommend."

"Great 3 nights here while exploring Salzburg, halstatt, eaglesnest, konigsee, and Berchesgarden. Hotel is Ideally located for these in a charming village with bavarian style buildings and church. Hotel itself is of same style but modern inside. Room was comfortable, very clean, spotless everywhere. Great nights sleep, comfortable beds, lovely balcony to look out on town and mountains beyond. Breakfast was very comprehensive and tasty, staff very helpful, most had very good english.

"I loved the updated look, and the comfort at this hotel. We enjoyed renting bikes for a day and able to see so much more of the city this way! We also enjoyed the ability to walk to shops and restaurants easily, and to and from the train station. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful! "

"The pictures on the website did not do our room justice at all. It was absolutely stunning. My children were blown away by the size of it, not to mention the piano.
We had a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the lounge area, which was just as comfortable as the main bed.
The rooftop restaurant is superb. We didn’t realise when we booked that this is also where breakfast is served in the morning.
There are numerous buses that stop very close to the hotel, but the central tourist attractions are only a few minutes walk away.

We had the junior suite, 10/10 shower/water pressure with plenty of towels for a family of 4. Very comfortable pillows and blanket. Excellent breakfast with real eggs, bacon, sausage and many other items. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay. "
