If you stay at the Mercure Hotel, you Can easily walk to the town centre and the Main station, if you walk along the Huyssen Aller (runs parallel to Bismarckstraße). If you don’t want to walk very far for a metal, just cross the Folkswang Bridge (pedestrian) and turn right. There you Will find small local restaurants. Ofcourse you are very near to the Folkswang Museum, and that is a must!! Entrance is free of charge, you only pay for the special exhibition. Go to the UNESCO World Heritage, Zollverein, which is a former coal mine and factory. Just jump a tram at the main station. "

"It is very difficult to find the hotel, because of its physical location. Extra effort must be made so the guests understand the parking and access to hotel. Different buildings each on different floors. Otherwise its got access to lots of shopping that was well received "
