If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Lesnes Abbey— just one of the monuments located 11.1 mi (17.9 km) from the centre of London. Our travelers also like this historical area for its riverfront setting. Belvedere has lots of other important landmarks you might want to see such as Tower Bridge, Tower of London, and Big Ben.

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was the best choice and everything we needed. It was reasonably priced, extremelly well located, right next to the beautiful Tower Bridge over Thames and the Tower of London, very close to buses and underground transportation- the Tower Hill Station. It provided an excellent hot breakfast with personalized omelets, an English breakfast and cold cuts, fruits, pastries and good coffee. It also has a restaurant on site with outdoor seating and gorgeous views at dinner. The rooms are quiet and clean, with comfortable beds and great duvets, equipped with AC. The hotel replenishes daily bottles of water in the room, which we appreciated a lot.
The entire staff was really nice and welcoming, but we would like to give special kudos to one special staff member who made our stay extra enjoyable: Narcisa Chirita, who went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything we need, and brightened our day with her greetings and pleasant conversation. Also, she saved us from missing our flight and having to pay for another flight overseas because of going to the airport with no passports. Soon after checkout, she contacted us to let us know that we had forgotten our passports, debit cards, insurance cards, driver's license and some cash in the safe. Had it not been for Narcisa, we would have experienced a really stressful and upsetting situation. So, again, many thanks, Narcisa Chirita! We appreciate your kind and thoughtful gesture! We will be visiting again!"
"Our room was nice, customer service was excellent. Location is walking distance to Big Ben and some other historical areas. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again. "
"The room was very small and compact but fine for one person - def not suitable for two. I can't fault the cleanliness of the room and hotel.
There were 3 hooks for hanging clothes but very close to door which wasnt great - maybe consider having a few more hooks for hanging clothes and damp towels.
Was right beside a busy pub and police station so felt pretty safe at nightime.
Would definitely consider staying here again. "

"The hotel was immaculate throughout. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed two chocolates upon checking in, bags were stored for us as our room was not ready early. The bed was extremely comfortable, AC was excellent and easy to use. Lights were electronic controls but easily learned. Shower water pressure was great. Felt very comfortable here."
"This hotel is right across the street from the most convenient London Underground station. We stayed here after coming in on an early Eurostar train from Paris. The front desk was kind enough to give us one of our rooms early so we could store all our luggage and have a bit of a rest before visiting the British museum (also not far from this hotel). After staying in an apartment style hotel in the high street Kensington area this place was smaller, but we really liked the convenience to the trains and it’s a well maintained hotel. "
"We have stayed here before which is why we returned. The rooms are comfortable (especially the beds / pillows). Our room was at the back of the hotel where there was building work going on outside. It was rather hot so we needed to open the windows and the noise in the morning did disturb us. We asked if we could move rooms and the reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We moved to another room which was cooler and less noisy. The bar and food is nice enough. Large open space. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. I’m gluten intolerant and the breakfast manager took me around to check what was suitable for me. I couldn’t fault our overall experience. The location is perfect for getting around London with the tube station about 50m from the front of the hotel (not that we used it much) except to and from Victoria coach station. "
"Property was excellent for my needs. Booked an addfitional two rooms on the weekend for my family and had a great meal at the restaurant as well as super drinks in the bar. Only minor comment was no sports channels on the TV."
"Very comfortable bed, quiet, high tech room that blocked out all light effectively for sleep. Terrific breakfast buffet and nice lounge area. Convenient to major sites, Hyde Park and transportation. Staff is very nice, helpful and available. Only downside is room for one is small (not enough room to layout luggage) and there appears to be homeless shelter area on start of the block where hotel is located - I never had any issues walking back and forth from the hotel on my own and never felt unsafe but just pay attention to your surroundings if you are solo traveler like I was. "
"Breakfast was excellent with plenty of food and choices. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is fairly new with nice beds and modern bathrooms. It is a short walk to Victoria Station and a walkable distance to Westminster Abbey. We found several nice restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store.

"D the fact that the hotel is in the middle of the Strand section. Walk to South Center Banks , the Ferry’s Wheel and the subway stations. Safe and convenient area."
"The property is located in the heart of Piccadilly Circus. Walking distance from all main attractions and close to public transportation. The rooms are very clean and quiet and staff very friendly. They do not provide hair dryer and iron. I recommend to bring an outlet adapter to plug your electronic devices. Overall, it offers the essentials that you need to have a comfortable stay. "
"really pleased with this find! tucked away, its a real gem.
beautiful inside & staff really friendly. love the voucher for the bar if you dont need a room clean which is no problem for a couple of nights! "
"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it was local to all the stores in theaters. We had a wonderful time and the rooms are very clean and accommodating. Thank you "
"It was such a lovely hotel all round. The hotel was spotless. All the staff were very helpful. You could not fault breakfast time, there was everything you could think of to eat and drink. I am very pleased I chose this hotel for our break."
"Amazing location, beautiful views, incredible rooms, excellent staff, great amenities, convenient room service. Only thing was that if your room faces the open courtyard of elevators, you'll hear them clicking a lot during operation. Would absolutely recommend this hotel to visitors!"
