"This is a clean, comfortable, reliable stop on your way anywhere. Not much to do in town, but there is a pool on the premises and it’s pretty quiet for a motel. Beds are more comfortable than some b&bs we’ve been to. Simple breakfast, but they will make eggs to order."

The hosts were warm and gracious, a font of historic knowledge on the house and the area. Beautiful gardens surround the house. A wonderful stay overall. Highly recommended."

Very convenient location right off I-5 (but, again, the room was very quiet.) One odd thing....desk clerk (and receipt print-out) would not disclose the price paid, because it was booked through a "third party." Never encountered that before. I'll certainly be checking my credit card charges to make sure it's correct! "

The property was wonderful and the staff was welcoming. My only problem was the fitness center which had very poor air conditioning. I’m not into hot yoga and fitness centers are usually very cool to encourage workouts. I hope that this will be corrected by our next visit. Otherwise, the stay was excellent."
