"My 4th trip to Pating, my first time at the Clover. I was really happy with this accommodation. Great location, very clean and nice staff. The only negative for me was their Halal restaurant. I tried the buffet breakfast once but i felt like i was in Saudi Arabia not Thailand. I was not comfortable with the selection, no bacon=no breakfast for me. So i walked across the road and paid 450bht several times for a proper buffet breakfast at their competitor. That was not a huge issue for me and i would definitely stay at the Clover again."

"From the moment we arrived at Le Méridien, we were treated with a level of care and attention that far exceeded our expectations. Celebrating our anniversary, we were welcomed with a delightful surprise: a beautifully arranged bouquet and a decadent cake waiting in our room—an incredibly thoughtful gesture that set the tone for our stay. The staff throughout the resort were truly exceptional. They consistently went out of their way to accommodate us, always anticipating our needs with grace and warmth. The children’s staff made our son feel instantly at home, creating a magical and safe environment in the play area that he looked forward to each day. Each morning at breakfast, the staff recognized us immediately and brought over our usual drinks before we even asked. The attention to detail was remarkable. On several occasions, both the manager and the chef personally greeted us, checking in and offering well wishes—especially touching on our final day."

"The location was amazing. Easy walking distance to food, entertainment, beach + easy transportation options. Great internet access. Amazing views of Patong Beach and the mountains. The rooftop pool was a major plus. If I had a complaint, the bed could be softer. It was rock hard for me."

However, if you’re a couple or a solo traveler looking for peace and quiet—especially by the pool—this might not be the ideal place for you. There is no adults-only pool, so the main pool area is often filled with children jumping, playing, and making quite a bit of noise throughout the day. Also, if you plan to go out late at night or enjoy nightlife, the location might feel a bit inconvenient, as it’s more family-oriented and quiet in the evenings. Overall, it’s perfect for a fun family getaway, but less suited for those seeking relaxation or a more adult-focused experience."

"Beautiful hotel, 15 mins walk to beach. Large bedroom with all amenities, friendly staff. The only issue was that we were looking forward to using the rooftop pool & it was closed for renovation. They did not notify us at all, just had a flyer in the room."

"Property is very nice - very quiet and serene. Beach requires shuttle/boat, which isn’t bad but it’s not really walkable. The boat is a bit irregular on schedule. One night we were stuck on beach for longer than expected, but staff at the partner beach resort and banyan tree helped us with the shuttle."
