However, Grand Hotel is under major renovation which we immediately marked upon arrival. It would have been good to know in advance for setting expectations. We found it basically remarkable that so much was still undone at the beginning of the summer season. All respect for the need to renovate, but it was really too much. "If you're only looking for a bed for a night, this hotel is passable and cheap enough. Anything beyond that I wouldn't recommend. This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've stayed at. The plastic mug in the bathroom looked like it'd barely even been rinsed after the previous guest, and was full of what looked like toothpaste remains. Shower full of grout. Mini fridge didn't work. The bed linen looked clean enough, but if cleanliness is a priority you should avoid this property at all costs."

"Hotel J is in a beautiful quiet setting on Nacka Strand, with lovely views out over the water and close to the regular boat service. My stay was very peaceful and relaxing. I loved the breathwork session at the hotel on Saturday morning and i also had an amazing massage.

"We had a superior King room which I'm glad we did as it wasn't particularly big bur was quite quirky, bed was comfortable and huge, breakfast was superb and Hotel was very central my only gripe was the lifts of which there are 4, one is used expressly for staff, one was broken during the whole of our stay (5 days) and one of the remaing 2 broke which left one lift for a hotel with 13 floors"
