"We loved our stay at the Passage. It was very clean, well organized and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. While the suite didn't have a separate room, it was nice how far away the sofa bed was from the actual bedroom and, with a sound machine, we were able to feel like we had two separate spaces. The bathrooms are very nice, but there were a couple quirky things 1. This would *not* be a suitable option for friends or multiple couples that like privacy. There is only a clear glass door for the shower room and it never fogs over so everyone who walks by has a clear view of the person bathing. 2. The toilet is in a separate room from the tub, sink and shower, so you have to go into a separate room to wash your hands Overall, though, we would return to the Passage in a heartbeat--just a few small things that might have been nice to know in advance :)"

"Staff was very friendly. Check-in was easy and room was ready early. Breakfast was offered at a fee, but was well worth it. We came to learn that breakfast is not “a thing“ in Switzerland. Most places offer coffee and a baked good. Breakfast at the hotel was a full spread, including eggs, bacon, meat, yogurt, cheeses, fruit, pastries, jams, and various toppings. very pleased with our stay."

"This is a great hotel - perfect if being near the main station/transport is important. It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! "Very pleasant stay here. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, tidy and more than adequate for my needs, though perhaps a little less than I'd expect for the price. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options, including crêpes, which was nice. Dinner was also of good quality. I enjoyed a massage in the spa, the masseuse was friendly and welcoming, despite a bit of a language barrier. Ideally located for EuroAirport too."

"Fantastic Stay – Spacious, Comfortable, and Great Location I absolutely loved my stay at Aparthotel Adagio Access Saint Louis Bâle! The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable for three people — we never felt cramped at all. The beds (including the sofa bed) were cozy, and we all slept really well throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the fully equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed to cook simple meals, which was both convenient and budget-friendly. The entire room, including the bathroom, was very clean and well-maintained — it felt fresh and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent. The tram station is just a short walk away, making it super easy to reach Basel and explore the area. There are also shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby, which made everything even more convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was quick, and they provided us with all the info we needed for the local transport system. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, so we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at night. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which was important for us. Overall, this place really felt like a home away from home. It's perfect for families, couples, or small groups looking for comfort, space, and good value near the Swiss border. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!"

"Had to go to the bldg next door to get our keys. Room was spacious, comfortable bed and a great little kitchen. It is in a somewhat industrial area so don’t count on any retail. "

"Some rooms only have partial lift access, so you may need to manually carry your luggage up a flight of stairs or so - but it’s a great, economical base in Basel that’s totally worth the effort. The room is pop-modern, simple but clean and highly functional layout, with a comfortable pillow and duvet and thoughtful amenities that make you feel well looked after without excess. The staff are very professional and friendly, assisting with check-in, and self-checkout is available via the email notification you receive. I’d be very happy to book again."
